BOSTON (December 14, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's track & field program competed on Saturday at the Joe Donohue Games, hosted by Northeastern.

In the sprints, senior Trevor Guay (Londonderry, N.H.) ran a time of 22.83 seconds for his 200-meter dash, which landed him in 14th. He was followed by sophomore Ethan Pezzullo (Bristol, R.I.), who ran a 23.11-second race and placed 16th. Pezzullo was also 17th in the 60-meter dash, with a run of 7.20 seconds.

In the distance events, sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.) led the pack for the Ravens, as he took fifth for his 1:59 finish in the 800 meters. Senior Tyler Hayes (Kings Park, N.Y.) followed behind in 10th, after running a 2:02. Junior Antonio Rua (Burrillville, R.I.) took 14th in the event after his 2:04 finish. Junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) took sixth place in the mile after running a 4:15 time. Fenoff showed up again to run the mile as well, and he took 17th after his 4:32 finish.

In the throwing events, sophomore Kevin McCree (Mansfield, Mass.) took 18th after throwing 11.79 meters in the weight throw. Fellow sophomore Armani Mette (Randolph, Mass.) took ninth in the shot put with his throw of 12.84 meters. He was followed by freshman Connor Everidge (Baldwinville, Mass.), who threw 12.79 meters and took 10th place.

Sophomore Aaron Young (Colchester, Conn.) put together a solid day in the pole vault. He was able to clear 4.10 meters, which was good enough for a tie for 14th. He became only the fourth vaulter in program history to clear a height of 4.10 meters or higher.

The Ravens will break for the semester and are slated to be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 11, for the Middlebury Winter Classic in Middlebury, Vt.
