Minors scores as Men’s Track & Field competes in Dartmouth Relays
HANOVER, N.H. (January 11, 2015) – Sophomore Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) took home a first place and fourth place finish in two different events as the Franklin Pierce University Men's Track & Field team finished six out of 10 on the track and competed in the field in the 46th annual Dartmouth Relays at Leverone Field House hosted by Dartmouth College.
Minors was able to grab four points for the Ravens with the finish in the Men's 400 Meter Dash, coming in as the second best time out of all Northeast-10 schools. Then he took home the top spot in the Men's 800 meter dash, collecting ten points. Teammates Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) and Antoine Gisore (Concord, N.H.) also finished in the top five in the 800 Meter Dash, as Holmes finished third, and Gisore in fifth as the collected another eight points combined for the Ravens.
Gisore rounded out the solid finishes on track for the Ravens with a tenth place finish in the Men's Mile Run.
On the field side, the Ravens struggled getting any top results, but saw respectable performances from sophomore Cory Cataldo (Tewksbury, Mass.) and Chris Bohi (Loudon, N.H.).
The Ravens return to competition next Friday, January 16th when they travel to the Big Apple to compete in the NYC Gotham Cup in New York, N.Y.
