Barriguinha Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

RINDGE, N.H. (11/20/24) - Franklin Pierce men's soccer standout Tiago Barriguinha (Alverca, Portugal) was named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
To gain eligibility, student-athletes must post a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and start in 90% of their team's games. Barriguinha posted a 3.86 GPA and is still undecided in his major. He was also named NE10 All-Conference First Team after playing all 17 games this year with 13 points through three goals and seven assists.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
