Felber, Laudahn Honored for Work in Classroom with Academic All-District Honors

RINDGE, N.H. (November 8, 2019) – No. 18 nationally-ranked Franklin Pierce University men's soccer players Yannik Felber (Vallendar, Germany) and Niklas Laudahn (Olfen, Germany) have been selected to the 2019 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team selected by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) it was announced Thursday afternoon.

For Felber, it was his second straight Academic All-District honor and for Laudahn it was his first. Because of their selections, they will both move onto the Academic All-America ballot which the results will be revealed in early December. Last year, in his first year of eligibility, Felber was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team.

To be eligible for selection, each student-athlete must own a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average or higher, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and be a starter or significant contributor athletically. The Academic All-District and All-America teams are voted on by sports information directors in the district and nation, respectively.

Felber, a junior management major with a 3.98 GPA and also the reigning NE10 Player of the Week, has appeared in 14 games for the Ravens. He's scored four goals, matched a career-high in assists (3) and has tallied 11 total points. His signature moment of the season was a two goal, one assist effort in the Ravens drubbing of previously no. 2 ranked Adelphi last Saturday evening.

Laudahn has appeared in 14 games for the crimson and grey making 13 starts. The team captain has set a new personal-best in assists (5), which ranks second on the team and he has tied his career-high with seven points. In the classroom, the senior business management major sports a 3.97 GPA.

The Ravens (12-3-1, 10-2-0 NE10) host Bentley University in the Quarterfinal Round of the Northeast-10 Championship tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.
