Five Ravens Earn Spots on NE10 Academic All-Conference Teams

RINDGE, N.H. (February 1, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University has had five student-athletes earn Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honors for the fall season, as announced on Friday afternoon by the Conference office. Senior midfielder Raegan Moulton (Baldwinville, Mass.) of the field hockey team, sophomore forward Yannik Felber (Vallendar, Germany) and junior back Niklas Laudahn (Olfen, Germany) of the men’s soccer team, and junior forward Veronica Marques (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and senior back Marta Turmo (Barcelona, Spain) of the women’s soccer team, were all honored by the league. The selected Ravens were among 88 student-athletes across seven sports honored by the NE10.
Ruben Resendes Named as Franklin Pierce Men’s Soccer Coach

RINDGE, N.H. (December 17, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University Director of Athletics Rachel Burleson has announced Ruben Resendes has been named as the 11th head coach of the University’s men’s soccer program. The former Southern New Hampshire University standout will return to the Northeast-10 Conference to take on his second collegiate head coaching job, and his first at the Division II level.

Felber Named Academic All-District By CoSIDA

Franklin Pierce University sophomore forward Yannik Felber (Vallendar, Germany) has been chosen to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Men’s Soccer Team selected by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) it was announced Thursday afternoon. Because of his selection, Felber will move on to the Academic All-America ballot. It is Felber’s first ever Academic All-District Honor.

With the win, the Ravens conclude the regular season at 7-9-1, 6-6-1 NE10 while the Skyhawks end their year with a 6-8-2, 5-7-1 mark.

Franklin Pierce University junior midfielder Noam Kolakofsky (Achziv, Israel) continued to dazzle on the offensive end as he racked up yet another goal, but it wasn’t enough as the Ravens dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Northeast-10 Conference opponent American International College Tuesday evening during a rainy and foggy Senior Night on Sodexo Field. The win sends the Yellow Jackets to 6-8-1, 6-6-1 NE10 while the Ravens were stung to 7-9-0, 6-6-0 NE10.
#13 Adelphi Snaps Ravens Win Streak, Win 2-0

The Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer team six-game win streak came to an end Saturday evening after no 13. nationally-ranked Adelphi University shutout the Ravens 2-0 during Northeast-10 Conference action on Motamed Field. With the win, the Panthers improve to 12-2-1, 10-1-0 NE10 while the Ravens move to 7-8-0, 6-5-0 NE10.

With the win, the Ravens improve to 6-7-0 overall and 5-4-0 NE10 while the Penmen fall to 10-2-1, 6-2-1 NE10.
