Ravens to take part in six contests during the spring season
RINDGE, N.H. (April 7, 2010) - The Franklin Pierce
University men's soccer team and head coach Craig
Stewart announced the 2010 spring schedule on Wednesday,
which includes six contests.
The Ravens will begin the spring schedule with a home game against Bentley in Sodexo Field tonight at 6:30 p.m.
Following the contest versus NE-10 rival Bentley, Franklin Pierce will then embark on a three-game road trip versus a trio of Division I institutions, including at Bryant on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Rhode Island. The Ravens will face Northeastern in Boston on April 14, and then take on New Hampshire on April 16. Both of those matches will also begin at 6:30 p.m.
Franklin Pierce will conclude its spring schedule with a pair of home dates on April 18 and 24. The Ravens will compete in an International Friendly on the 18th, and then take part in an Alumni Game on the 24th at 1 p.m.
The Ravens are coming off a solid 2009 season which saw them end the year with a 13-5-3 record and a No. 16 ranking in the NSCAA national poll. Franklin Pierce advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the seventh-straight season and for the 15th time overall in program history.
