Men’s Golf: Finish 6th at the NE10 Championships
CONCORD, N.H. (10/08/24) - The Franklin Pierce men's golf team participated in the 2024 Northeast-10 Championships in an eight-team field at the Concord Country Club, Monday and Tuesday. The Ravens finished sixth out of eight teams.
After day one, the Ravens were in eighth with a score of 614 (+54). After day two, the Ravens upgraded two spots to finish sixth (+77, 917).
Individually, Seth Saffell (Castro Valley, Calif.) finished first for the Ravens and 13th overall. He shot +13 (223). Next on the leaderboards for the Ravens was Ian Dunham (Hope Valley, R.I.) who would finish in 17th place shooting +17 (227). Also, in the top 25 would be Peter Wurszt (Wilbraham, Mass.) with a +22 (232).
Southern New Hampshire University would claim the top spot for the first time in six years. Adelphi and Assumption would finish second and third, respectively.
The Franklin Pierce men's golf team will be in action one last time for the 2024 Fall season when they travel to Watertown, Connecticut for Post Eagles Invitational.
