Men’s Golf: Fourth Place Finish at the Penmen Fall Invitational

LEBANON, N.H. (09/24/24) - The Franklin Pierce men's golf team traveled to Lebanon, New Hampshire for the Penmen Fall Invitational hosted by Southern New Hampshire University. The tournament took place at the Montcalm Golf Course.  

The team finished fourth out of eight teams with Seth Saffell (Castro Valley, Calif.) continuing to lead the Ravens. In just three tournaments, Saffell has finished first for the Ravens each time. This week at the Penmen Fall Invitational, Saffell shot +5 to finish ninth overall. The second Raven to fall in the top 25 was first year Ian Dunham (Hope Valley, R.I.) who shot +12 and finished 24th overall. Albert Kim (Castro Valley, Calif.) and Peter Wurszt (Wilbraham, Mass.) finished 29th and 30th respectively. Senior Jack Paterson (Franklin, Mass.) rounded out the leaderboards for the Ravens in 41th place.  

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The next time the Ravens are in action is for the Northeast-10 Conference Championships. They are set to take place on Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8th. They will take place in Concord, New Hampshire at the Concord Country Club.
