Men's Golf: Ravens Finish 8th at Franklin Pierce Fall Invite
TOWNSEND, N.H. (09/10/24) – The Franklin Pierce University men's golf program hosted the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, earning 8th place out of 9 teams.
After two rounds at the Northern Spy Golf Club, the team finished up with a combined score of 603 (+43). Wilmington University won the invitational after shooting a combined 589 (+29) which was two strokes ahead of the runner up Greyhounds of Assumption.
Senior golfer Peter Wurszt (Wilbraham, Mass.) led the Ravens and finished tied for 11th place after shooting a 74-73—147 (+7). Tied with Wurszt was first year Ian Dunham (Hope Valley, R.I) who shot a 76-71—147 (+7). The next contribution to the Ravens team score was junior Seth Saffell (Castro Valley, Calif.) who finished tied for 25th with a 76-77—153 (+13).

NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: FPU will travel to the links of Southern New Hampshire University for the Granite State Opener next week. They will play at Beaver Meadow Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday.
