Ravens Struggle Against AIC, Shift Focus to Postseason

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (2/25/25) – The Franklin Pierce men's basketball team closed out the regular season with a 94-73 loss to American International College on Tuesday night. Despite a strong effort on the boards, the Ravens couldn't match AIC's hot shooting from beyond the arc.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • AIC jumped out early, building a 21-point lead that Franklin Pierce was never able to overcome.
  • The Ravens dominated the offensive glass, scoring 24 second-chance points to stay within reach.
  • AIC shot 54.0% from the field and 51.6% from three, compared to Franklin Pierce's 36.5% and 36.4%.
  • AIC capitalized on transition play, outscoring the Ravens 31-11 on fastbreak points.
