RINDGE, N.H. (2/8/25) - The Franklin Pierce men's basketball team fell to Saint Michael's, 85-66, on Saturday at The Fieldhouse. Despite a strong first-half surge, the Ravens were unable to keep pace with the Purple Knights, who used a decisive run to take control of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Saint Michael's set the tone early, jumpting out to an early 10-4 lead by 16:01 of the opening half.
- Sophomore Trevon Thomas (Oak Park, Ill.) hit two threes to spark a 17-6 run that brought Franklin Pierce within 35-32 on sophomore Pierce Prendergast's (Bayport, N.Y.) triple at 2:31. Demariontay Hall (Atlanta, Ga.) had seven points in the stretch.
- Purple Knight's Abdur-Rahman De Leon responded with a three 20 seconds alter and made another three as the run grew to 14-0 while carrying into the second half. Saint Michael's were up 49-32 at 18:50.
- Donte Pope's (Middletown, Conn.) three cut the deficit to 49-50 with 17:25 to go, but the Purple Knights converted a lay-up on the next possession., and they never gain led by fewere than 11 points.
THROUGH THE NUMBERS:
- Donte Pope lead the Ravens with 21 points.
- Saint Michael's shot 45.6% from the field, the Ravens shot 35.4%.
