MANSFIELD, Mass. (March 2, 2020) – No. 9 regionally-ranked Franklin Pierce University men's basketball sophomore guard Isaiah Moore (Temple Hills, Md.) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week Monday afternoon by the league offices in the final edition of their weekly report. It is the second time this season a Pierce men's hoops athlete has collected top player honors.

Moore started and played in both games for the Ravens this past week. The sophomore guard averaged 22.5 points, 6.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 68% (17-of-25) from the floor and 62.5% (5-of-8) from beyond the arc. In the Ravens two-point win in the NE10 Quarterfinals, Moore produced a career and game-high 29 points to go with a game-best six assists, three boards, one steal, and one block. He shot 71.4% (10-of-14) from the hardwood and 50% (3-of-6) from deep. Moore, who's been on a roll since the start of February, scored 18 of his 29 points in the second half missing only one of his seven shots.

Since the calendar turned to February, Moore has averaged 17.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.3 rebounds converting field goals at a 56.7% (59-of-104) clip including a 43.2% (16-for-37) efficiency from long range over his past eight games.

The Ravens (16-11), the no. 3 Northeast Division seed will travel to the no. 5 regionally-ranked and no. 1 Northeast Division seed Saint Anselm College (19-8), winners of their past nine games for the NE10 Semifinals on Wednesday with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
