The no. 9 regionally-ranked and no. 3 Northeast Division seeded Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball 2019-20 season came to an end in the Northeast-10 Conference Semifinals with an 80-66 defeat at the hands of the no. 4 regionally-ranked and Northeast Division top seed Saint Anselm College in a Stoutenburgh Gym packed to the lid with Pierce fans Wednesday evening.

Fadojutimi Selected to NE10 First Team By Leagues’ Head Coaches

No. 9 regionally-ranked Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball senior guard Doyin Fadojutimi (Temple Hills, Md.) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team the league offices announced after a collection of votes by the leagues’ head coaches were tallied. It marks the first time since the 2013-14 season (Ellis Cooper) that a Raven has received a First Team bid.

Following a 76-74 road victory over the no. 10 regionally-ranked and no. 2 Southwest Division seeded Adelphi University, the no. 9 regionally-ranked and no. 3 Northeast Division seed Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball team will travel cross-state to take on the scorching hot no. 5 regionally-ranked and Northeast Division top seed Saint Anselm College Wednesday, March 4th with a trip to the Northeast-10 Conference Championship Game on the line in the NE10 Semifinals at 7:00 p.m.

It is the second time this season a Pierce men’s hoops athlete has collected top player honors.

Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball sophomore guard Isaiah Moore (Temple Hills, Md.) dropped a team-high 16 points to go with a game-high six assists as the Ravens squandered a halftime lead and fell to Northeast-10 Conference opponent Assumption College 84-73 Tuesday evening in the regular-season finale for both teams at Laska Gymnasium.

The win, the sixth in a row for the Hawks moves them to 16-8, 12-5 NE10 while the crimson and grey snap their three-game winning streak and fall to 15-9, 10-7 NE10.

Sophomore guard Isaiah Moore (Temple Hills, Md.) set a new career-high with a game-best 24 points as the Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball team snuck past Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Michael’s College 73-70 at the Ross Sports Center on Saturday afternoon. Sam van Oostrum (Sheffield, England) took a bounce pass from Falu Seck (Washington D.C.) and finished a left-handed reverse layup with 14 seconds remaining for the winning bucket.
