Following a Seck three-ball, Bentley used an 18-6 scoring binge capped off by a Richmond steal and mid-range jumper to push the Falcons ahead by 15, 39-24. Franklin Pierce cut into their deficit as McDevitt notched a jumper assisted by Sandiford and layup from underneath.
Leading by 13, Bentley scored six consecutive markers by way of the three-pointers to increase their edge to 19, 48-29 with 4:30 remaining before the break. Following a timeout, the Ravens tallied five in a row to make it a 14 point game after good ball movement and an extra pass by David Bradbury (Deep River, Conn.) led to another Fadojutimi three-ball. Bentley outscored the Ravens 14-2 over the final four minutes of the stanza to lead 62-36 at the games halfway point.
The Falcons put up 16 more shots than the Ravens and were 26-of-46 (56.5%) from the hardwood and 9-of-15 (60.0%) from long range. They also were careful with the rock as they did not turn the ball over once during the first half.
