Bellingham Mass., native earns her first weekly honor

RINDGE, N.H. (October 6, 2003) – Franklin Pierce freshman Collette Brady (Bellingham, Mass./Bellingham) was named the Northeast-10 Conference field hockey Freshman of the Week by the Conference office on Monday.

Brady began the week by assisting on the game opening goal in the Ravens’ 2-1 upset victory over No. 10 Stonehill College and then scored a game opener of her own in the 4-1 victory over Merrimack.

Brady currently ranks third on the 2003 squad with four goals and two assists for a total of ten points.

Franklin Pierce (7-6, 6-6 NE-10) returns to action tomorrow, when it hosts Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 Conference match at 4 p.m.
