Ravens Collect Two NE10 Player Of The Week Awards
MANSFIELD, Mass. (09/23/24) - The Northeast-10 Conference released its player of the week honors for week three, and two Franklin Pierce University Ravens received recognition.
Football:
Redshirt sophomore quarterback Adrian Parker (Manchester, Conn.) received the Offensive Player of the Week award for Football. Parker was 34-of-53 passing (64.2%) for 479 yards and four touchdowns to contribute to Franklin Pierce's attempt to a comeback against New Haven in a 45-34 loss. Parker broke the school record for both completed passes (34) and passing yards (479). He currently ranks first in the conference in passing.
Women's Soccer:
Junior forward Claudia Peirce (Carver, Mass.) recorded two goals and two assists (six points) in a 2-0 week for the Ravens. She began the week with two assists in a 6-0 win over STAC. Peirce closed out the week with two goals in the Ravens 3-1 win over NE10 opponent AIC to allow them to go 1-0 in conference play.
