RINDGE, N.H. (1/29/25) - Franklin Pierce University pitcher Niklas Pavia was named to the 2025 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-East Region Team, announced Tuesday afternoon.

Pavia had a standout rookie season and was the 2024 NE10 Northeast Division Rookie Pitcher of the Year. He finished the season with a 5-3 record and a 2.82 ERA. He had 68 strikeouts in 54.1 innings of work across 15 appearances, which included two saves. Pavia was also named NCBWA Honorable Mention All-America at the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Franklin Pierce will begin its season in North Carolina on Friday, February 14 when it will take on Goldey-Beacom.
