Franklin Pierce Athletics Announces Schedule Changes (Week of April 3)
RINDGE, N.H. (April 4, 2017) – With wet weather continuing to plague the region, the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics has announced several changes to its upcoming schedule:
- Women's Tennis – The home match against Gordon on Monday was postponed. The match will be made up on Monday, April 10 at 3 p.m. in Rindge.
- Baseball – The game scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at Southern New Hampshire has been postponed by one day and will now be played at home. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Pappas Field on Wednesday, April 5.
- Softball – Wednesday's home doubleheader against Saint Anselm has been postponed. The two teams will now meet in a doubleheader at Saint Anselm on Tuesday, April 11, beginning at 3 p.m. A makeup date for the third game of the series is still to be determined.
In addition, softball's home doubleheader on Sunday, April 9 against American International has been relocated. The games will now be played at AIC's Judy Groff Field in Springfield, Mass., beginning at noon on Sunday.
- Track & Field - The meet scheduled for Saturday at Middlebury -- the Panther Spring Invitational -- has been postponed by one day to Sunday, April 9.
