RINDGE, N.H. (January 27, 2016) – Junior Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) of the Franklin Pierce University men's track & field team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Track Athlete of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league office. In addition this week, four other Ravens have been named to their sport's respective Weekly Honor Roll.

On Sunday at the GBTC Invitational, Minors stopped the clock at 2:27.53 to win the 1000 meters. The time was the best time so far in the Northeast-10 in 2015-16 and also met the NEICAAA Championships qualifying standard in the event. Minors doubled up at the GBTC Invitational by also picking up a victory in the 300 meters.

Also of note for Ravens track & field, the men's program was nationally ranked this week, in the USTFCCCA's first national ranking of the indoor season. Franklin Pierce checked in at No. 18 in the country, the third of three teams from the Northeast-10 to earn national rankings this week (No. 12 American International, No. 13 Southern Connecticut State).
