RINDGE, N.H. (August 29, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics announced on Wednesday that students who sign up for the Pierce Pride Ravens Rewards program by Sept. 1, will be entered for a chance to win a $10 off gift certificate to the new athletics online store. 

The new store will launch in mid-September on the department's official website (http://athletics.franklinpierce.edu) and will feature numerous apparel options for fans to purchase and wear as they cheer on their favorite Ravens teams. The online shop will also allow fans the chance to customize their apparel, including selecting the color, athletics logo and sport name. 

Franklin Pierce recently announced that athletics had partnered with TeamWorld Corporate to produce an online store, which will serve as a fundraiser for each of the teams as a portion of all sales will be returned to the school.

Students are encouraged to sign up early for the Ravens Rewards program to take advantage of this exciting offer. The Ravens Rewards program is the newest version of the Pierce Pride initiative, which was created in 2009 and has been regionally and nationally recognized by the Northeast-10 Conference and the NCAA for creating one of the top game environments in all of Division II.

The program will reward students for coming to Ravens home athletics events. Ravens Rewards is completely FREE for all Franklin Pierce students. After signing up online (http://athletics.franklinpierce.edu/information/piercepride/rewards/index) or at select athletics events in September, members will receive a Rewards card and can earn points by attending any home athletics event (when classes are in session) and getting their card stamped. All events are worth one (1) stamp unless otherwise noted. On occasion, throughout the year, the Department of Athletics may elect to give credit for attending non-Athletics events.

Prizes that will be awarded for accumulating points include coupons to Pizza Haven and the Ravens Nest, a portable electronics case, a 22-ounce stadium mug, coupons to the campus bookstore, a winter hat and a surprise gift.
