Franklin Pierce Hosts 29th Annual Golf Tournament

RINDGE, N.H. (August 1, 2018) -- Franklin Pierce University, in conjunction with the Department of Athletics, recently hosted the 29th Annual Franklin Pierce University Golf Tournament on Monday, July 23. The event, held at Keene Country Club, featured over 100 golfers.
Christine Levreault Named Head Athletic Trainer

RINDGE, N.H. (July 20, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University Director of Athletics Rachel Burleson has announced Christine Levreault has been promoted to Head Athletic Trainer, effective immediately. Levreault fills the role vacated by Cindy Arman, who retired at the end of the 2017-18 academic year, after more than 30 years in the position.
Amendola, Morrison Earn Spots on NE10 Academic All-Conference Teams

RINDGE, N.H. (July 19, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University has had a pair of student-athletes earn Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honors for the spring season, as announced on Wednesday by the Conference office. Senior right-hander John Amendola (Wallingford, Conn.) of the baseball team and senior Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) of the women’s golf team were both honored by the league. The selected Ravens were among 93 student-athletes across 10 sports honored by the Northeast-10.
247 Ravens Land on Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll

(July 18, 2018) – A total of 247 student-athletes in the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics have been named to the 2018 spring semester edition of the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, as announced last week by the Conference office. In addition, 28 student-athletes garnered perfect, 4.0 grade-point averages.
Andrew Klaus Named Head Coach of Franklin Pierce Softball Program

RINDGE, N.H. (July 17, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University Director of Athletics Rachel Burleson has announced Andrew Klaus has been named the 12th head coach in the Division II era (since 1989) of the University’s softball program. Klaus will replace Hannah Griffin, who has resigned her position effective Aug. 3.

McGuckin Lands on NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

RINDGE, N.H. (June 11, 2018) – Senior Tom McGuckin (Clayton, N.J.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s ice hockey team has earned Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honors for the winter season, as announced earlier this spring by the Conference office. He was among 67 student-athletes across seven sports honored by the NE10.
222 Student-Athletes Earn GPAs of 3.3 or Higher During Spring Semester to be Named to Athletic Department Honor Roll

RINDGE, N.H. (May 24, 2017) – A total of 222 student-athletes in the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics have been named to the 2018 spring semester edition of the Athletic Department Honor Roll, as announced Thursday. In addition, 33 student-athletes garnered perfect, 4.0 grade-point averages. In all, 21 of the University’s 26 varsity squads eclipsed the 3.0 mark, and the Department’s student-athletes combined to post a 3.18 cumulative GPA for the semester.
Field Hockey’s Canavan Named as NE10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year Finalist

Siblings are an enigma. Living and growing up together, continually competing and driving each other crazy at times. It does not get much easier when identical twins are involved. For the Lassows and Sweeneys, it is hard to imagine one without the other. All seniors at Franklin Pierce, Benjamin and Aaron Lassow have been vital cogs for the men’s lacrosse program, while Caitlin and Briana Sweeney have brought new life into the women’s lacrosse program, shouldering the team for the better portion of their collegiate careers.
