Bio

Braelan O’Toole enters her third season at Franklin Pierce as an Assistant Coach in 2016. She spent the previous season as an Assistant Coach at Stonehill, and was also an assistant coach at Bates College for their volleyball and women’s basketball programs.

O’Toole comes to Rindge with strength and conditioning expertise to go along with her volleyball knowledge, as she holds an Exercise Science degree from Keene State College. While at Bates College, O’Toole instituted a both a preseason and postseason training regimen for the volleyball team. She has also been a coach at various volleyball camps at Tufts University and Bentley University.

At Keene, O’Toole was a four-year letter winner and was a major impact player during her junior and senior seasons, specifically as a blocker. She was also part of an Owls team in 2008 that won the Little East Conference Championship, and reached the NCAA Division III Championships for the first time as a program.

Originally from Derry, N.H., O’Toole graduated from Keene State College in 2012 with a degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. She is currently pursuing a Master’s and works as a Graduate Assistant in the Admissions office at Franklin Pierce.
