Bio

Amobi Amrstrong finished his second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce volleyball program in 2013.

A four-time letterwinner at New Jersey Institute of Technology (bio), Armstrong makes his collegiate coaching debut in Rindge after spending time in the investment world. In 2008 at NJIT, he was selected to the EIVA All-East Region Second Team after hitting .252 with 311 kills over 27 matches. A year earlier, he averated 3.40 kills per set to lead the Highlanders to a Hay Division title and 19 wins, the most for the team in eight years.

Originally from the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia, Armstrong was the country's Junior Volleyball Player of the Year in both 2003 and 2004 and has been a member of the national team since 2005. In April 2013, he represented host Saint Lucia in the second round of NORCECA qaulifying for the 2014 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship.

Armstrong Armstrong graduated from NJIT in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in management, and is pursuing his MBA in Leadership at Franklin Pierce.
