Lindstrom, Ivanova and Garnhart Selected As All-Conference Volleyball Players

RINDGE, N.H.  (November 20, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University volleyball players Ingrid Lindstrom (Dudley, Mass.), Ellie Ivanova (Sofia, Bulgaria) and Abigail Garnhart (Colorado Springs, Colo.) have been chosen as Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference athletes the league office announced Wednesday afternoon after a coaches' vote was conducted.

A freshman, Lindstrom was chosen to the All-Conference Second Team as well as the All-Rookie Team.  She was joined on the Second Team by Ivanova while Garnhart rounded out the Raven showings by being selected to the Third Team. The Ravens selections to the All-Conference teams are their first since the 2016 campaign.

Lindstrom, a one-time NE10 Player and Rookie of the Week led the team in kills (244), kills per set (2.57), total blocks (79) and blocks per set (0.83) while coming second in hitting percentage (.286). The one-time weekly honor roll choice in league play ranks sixth overall in hitting (.286), is sixth in total blocks (79) and sixth in blocks per set (0.83). She has 11 double-digit kill performances including a career-high 27 kills, the fourth-highest total during a match in the program record books while hitting .511 in the 3-2 (25-27, 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 21-19) comeback versus Mercy. Lindstrom has blocked four or more attempts nine times including a personal-best eight at Queens (N.Y.). In the individual game record books, Lindstrom hit .667, the sixth-best mark during a duel in program history during her collegiate debut, 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-16) sweep of Post.

Ivanova was a three-time NE10 Libero of the Week and a two-time member of the weekly honor roll. She has a team-best 470 digs and a 4.90 digs per set mark. Her dig per set mark is third overall in the league and her 470 digs rank sixth. In conference games, Ivanova paces all L/DS with 293 digs and a 5.75 digs per set average. She has 12, 20 or more dig games including six straight 20+ dig matches. In the 3-2 loss to Saint Anselm, Ivanova manufactured the fifth-highest single dig performance in program history with a game-high and personal-best 36 digs. Ivanova also ranked second on the team in service aces with 33.

Garnhart was a one-time weekly honor roll choice rounds out the Ravens All-Conference athletes with a Third Team selection. The team captain comes in at first on the team hitting (.296), second in kills (242), kills per set (2.52), total blocks (55) and blocks per set (0.56). In the conference, she is third in hitting percentage (.296). Garnhart has 13, 10+ more kill games with a career-high 23 coming in the 3-2 five-setter versus Mercy. In a 3-2 (25-23, 20-25, 25-18, 20-25, 11-15) setback to American International on October 22nd, Garnhart set a career-high with seven total blocks. In the NE10 Quarterfinal setback to AIC, she compiled a team-high 13 kills and a .542 hitting percentage.

The Ravens wrapped up their season at 13-12, 7-6 NE10 and were winners in six of their last eight games.
