MANSFIELD, Mass. (November 5, 2019) – For the second consecutive week, Franklin Pierce University volleyball junior Ellie Ivanova (Sofia, Bulgaria) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Libero of the Week the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. It is the third time this season Ivanova has received top libero honors.

Ivanova started and played in both matches for the Ravens this past week leading her squad to a 1-1 mark. She amassed 53 digs, 6.63 digs per set, eight assists and six service aces. In the Ravens 3-0 sweep of Saint Rose, Ivanova tallied 26 digs, 8.67 digs per set, three aces and four assists. The next day versus Le Moyne she racked up 27 digs, 5.40 digs per set with three aces and four assists.

With two 20 or more dig matches last weekend, Ivanova has now dug out 20+ in six straight matches. On the season she has 11 20+ dig showdowns and in NE10 action, she ranks first in digs (218) and digs per set (6.06). Overall, the junior is fourth in digs (387) and third in digs per set (5.03) in the conference.

The Ravens (9-11, 3-6 NE10) head out on the road for the final time this season for a two-game weekend road trip starting Friday at Adelphi University with first serve set for 7:00 p.m.
