MANSFIELD, Mass. (October 29, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University volleyball junior Ellie Ivanova (Sofia, Bulgaria) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Libero of the Week the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. It is the second time this season Ivanova has received top libero honors.

Ivanova played in both games for the Ravens this past week. She tallied 6.00 digs per set, 54 digs, four assists, and two service aces helping lead the Ravens to a 1-1 week. In the five-set defeat on the road at AIC, Ivanova manufactured 26 digs. She followed that up with 28 digs in a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut State.

Over the course of the season, she has nine 20+ dig matches including four straight games of 20 or more and in league matches, Ivanova paces the conference in digs (165) and digs per set (5.89).

The Ravens (8-10, 2-5 NE10) have a two-game weekend homestand starting this Friday at 7:00 p.m. versus conference foe the College of Saint Rose.
