Miller Miller picked up her second Northeast-10 Libero of the Week Award of the season after averaging 6.09 digs per set last week.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 26, 2011) – Freshman libero Lauren Miller (Alexandria, Ind.) of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Libero of the Week for the week ending on Oct. 23, as announced Tuesday by the Conference office. In addition, sophomore right side Natasha Ray (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has been selected to the Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.

In a 1-2 week for the Ravens, Miller averaged 6.09 digs per set, while receiving serve at a .976 clip (two receiving errors in 82 attempts) over the three matches. Along the way, she chipped in five service aces. Miller notched 24 digs and two aces at Saint Michael's last Tuesday, 28 digs and three aces against Saint Rose on Saturday and 15 digs against Le Moyne on Sunday.

It is the second Libero of the Week selection of the season for Miller, who was previously honored for the week ending on Sept. 4.

Ray averaged 3.09 kills and 4.18 digs per set while .153 and receiving serve at a .975 clip (two receiving errors in 81 attempts). Ray finished with eight kills and 14 digs at Saint Michael's; 16 kills and 16 digs against Saint Rose; and 10 kills, 16 digs and two block solos against Le Moyne.

It is the fourth Weekly Honor Roll selection of the season for Ray, who was previously honored for the weeks ending on Sept. 4, Sept. 11, Sept. 25 and Oct. 16.

The Ravens (11-11, 5-6 Northeast-10) return to the court on Friday, Oct. 28, when they travel to Adelphi for a Northeast-10 Conference match. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Center for Recreation and Sport in Garden City, N.Y.
