Kohout has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor
Roll.RINDGE, N.H. (October 26, 2010) – Senior libero Chelsie Kohout (Harrison Township, Mich.) of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Oct. 24, as announced Monday by the conference office.
Though the Ravens lost both of their matches last week, Kohout averaged 5.25 digs per set on the week. At home against Stonehill on Wednesday night, she led all players with 26 digs. On Friday night at Bentley, Kohout finished with 16 digs.
On the season, through Oct. 19, Kohout led the Northeast-10 by averaging 5.88 digs per set. She also leads a Ravens defense which ranks second in the conference in both digs per set (17.58) and opponent hitting percentage (.126).
The Ravens return to the court on Wednesday, Oct. 27, when they return home to host American International in a Northeast-10 Conference contest. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Fieldhouse.
