Caitlynn Parnell has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference
Weekly Honor Roll.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 26,
2009) – Senior Caitlynn Parnell (Medina,
Texas) of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team
has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for
the week ending on Oct. 25, as announced Monday afternoon by the
conference office.
Over three matches last week, Parnell tallied 33 kills (3.00 per
set) and 17 digs (1.55 per set) to go with six blocks (one solo).
She received serve at a .917 clip (22-for-24), to lead the team in
that category, as the Ravens posted a 1-2 record on the week. On
Wednesday at Stonehill, Parnell recorded five kills, four digs and
three blocks (one solo). On Saturday at American International, she
finished with 10 kills, five digs and three block assists. Parnell
capped the week with an 18-kill, eight-dig performance later on
Saturday in Franklin Pierce’s win over Millersville.
On the season, Parnell has started in all 24 matches for the
Ravens and is second on the team with 174 kills (2.10 per set).
Over 548 attacks, she has made 105 errors, to tally a .126 hitting
percentage. Defensively, she has notched 48 blocks (0.58 per set),
which is good for second on the team, and 126 digs (1.52 per
set).
The Ravens (7-17, 3-7 Northeast-10) return to the court on
Tuesday, Oct. 27, when they return home to host Bentley in a
Northeast-10 Conference contest. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
at the Fieldhouse in Rindge.
