Franklin Pierce spikes Southern Connecticut, 3-0
Ravens win third straight match

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Oct. 14, 2005)
– The Franklin Pierce volleyball team swept Southern
Connecticut State University, 3-0 (30-27, 30-22, 30-21) in
Northeast-10 volleyball action this evening at Pelz Gym.
Franklin Pierce junior captain Michelle McConnell (Elora, Ontario/Centre
Washington) led the Ravens with 11 kills, 11 digs and two
serving aces. Junior Christina
Collett (Tombstone, Ariz./Tombstone) was solid for the
Ravens posting seven kills and five digs. Freshman Caroline Ehorn (Orange, Conn./Amity
Regional) chipped with 15 assists and nine digs to help led
the Ravens to a third straight victory.
Franklin Pierce (9-10, 7-3 NE-10) returns to action Monday when it
hosts UMass Lowell for a match starting at 7 p.m. Southern
Connecticut (5-13, 1-8 NE-10) will host Albertus Magnus on Tuesday
for a match starting at 7 p.m.
