KEENE, N.H. (Oct. 20, 2003) – Freshman Christina Collett (Tombstone, Ariz./Tombstone) led Franklin Pierce to a 3-1 victory over Keene State with 22 kills, two aces and 13 digs in non-conference volleyball action this evening.

Junior Briana Bates (Belmont, N.H./Endicott College) followed with 20 kills, one ace and four digs, while senior setter, Bethany Findley (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) dished 60 assists and totaled nine digs. Defensively for the Ravens, Tara Vece (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) recorded a match-high 40 digs.

Franklin Pierce (11-11, 4-9 NE-10) returns to action on Thursday when it travels to Bridgeport for a non-Conference match at 7 p.m. Keene State travels to Western Connecticut State University (7-14) for the Little East Round Robin on Saturday.
