WALTHAM, Mass. (Sept. 23, 2003) – The Franklin Pierce volleyball team fell 3-0 to Bentley College in Northeast-10 Conference volleyball action this evening.

Sophomore Amber Gracey (Saline, Mich./Saline) helped earn the victory for the Falcons with 11 kills and classmate Ashley Elliazar (Millani, Hawaii/Iolani School) recorded a double-double. Setter Kristen Johnson (Greenville, S.C./J.L. Mann) tallied a career-best 31 assists and 11 digs.

Junior Briana Bates (Belmont, N.H./Endicott College) led the Ravens with 12 kills, two aces and one dig while senior setter Bethany Findley (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) dished 21 assists and contributed ten digs, one ace. Sophomore Tara Vece (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) registered a team-high 14 digs.

Franklin Pierce (5-5, 2-3 NE-10) hosts Pace University on Friday in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at 7 p.m. Bentley (9-3, 3-1 NE-10) visits American International College next Tuesday.
