ALLENDALE, Mich. (May 28, 2022) -- Freshman Nouhayla Errahili (Fes, Morocco) closed out the competitive season in style for the Franklin Pierce University women's track & field team on Saturday afternoon in the Wolverine State, as she earned her first career All-America honors. She took fourth in the high jump at the NCAA Championships, which are being hosted by Grand Valley State and the West Michigan Sports Commission at GVSU Track & Field Stadium.

It was her first career appearance in the national meet, and Errahili wasted no time, as she cleared the opening height of 1.62 meters on her first attempt. It took her two attempts to get up and over 1.67 meters, but then she was successful on her first try at both 1.70 and 1.73 meters, which proved important. Errahili was one of five athletes who was able to clear 1.73 meters, but not 1.76 meters. She took fourth place, at the head of the group, by virtue of being the only one to clear 1.73 in just one attempt.

Sophomore Arika Robinson of Concordia-St. Paul took home the national title, by getting up and over 1.82 meters.

Errahili's performance marked the final competitive outing of the year for Ravens track & field. Junior Nyjah Young-Bey (Montclair, N.J.) finished 18th in the 400 meters earlier in the week at the NCAA Championships.
