Five on Women's Track Set Season Best at Sean Collier Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (April 18, 2015) – Seven members of the Franklin Pierce University women's track and field team put their names on Northeast-10 Rankings this Saturday at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Junior Jackie Price (Brick, N.J.) placed first in the 100-meter hurdles, while junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) placed second in the 5,000 meters.

Junior Monique Loney (Stamford, Conn.) placed 8th in the 100 meters with a  time of 12.87, which is her season best. She also earned her season best with a time of 26.45 placing 6th in the 200 meters, which ranks her ninth in the NE-10.

Lambert placed 2nd in the 5,000 meters with a time if 18:28.93, which ranks her fifth in the NE-10. Junior Danielle Koch (Coventry, Conn.) placed 4thi n the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:56.78

Price placed 1st in the 100-meter hurdles with her season best time of 14.93, which also ranks her fourth in the NE-10.

Sophomore Breigh Souliere (Cumberland, R.I.) placed 5th in the 100-meter hurdles, which is her season best, and ranks her 10th in the NE-10.

Freshman Kelsey Lee-Donnelly (Manchester, N.H.) tied for 10th in the pole vault at 2.67 meters.

Junior Danielle Demers (Auburn, Maine) placed 4th in the triple jump at 10.43 meters and ranks ninth in the NE-10.

Junior Nadine Hyde (Maple Valley, Wash.) placed 6th in the discus with 33.95 meters, her season best and ranks her second in the NE-10.

Sophomore Kendra Plant (Cumberland, R.I.) placed 6th in the hammer throw at 40.06 meters, her season best, and ranks her seventh in the NE-10.

Sophomore Miranda Gagnon (Rollinsford, N.H.) placed 4th in the javelin at 34.96 meters.

The 4x100 meter relay team - comprised of Loney, Price, Souliere, and junior Nicki Zeigler (Circleville, N.Y.)- finished second with a time of 50.11

The Ravens travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to compete in the Penn Relays hosted by University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 22nd
