Women's Track and Field Members Set Season Bests at David Hemery Valentine Invitational

Phipps BOSTON, Mass. (February 13, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce women's track and field team participated in the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosed by Boston University. Four Ravens and the 4x4000 relay team posted their season best while earning Northeast-10 rankings.

Freshman Danielle Crawford (Lowell, Mass.) set her season best in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:23.33.

Junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.)  posted her season best in the 1000 meter run with a time of 3:00.27. remaining the leader in the Northeast-10 and knocking a second off her time.  

Junior Danielle Koch (Coventry, Conn.) set her season best in the mile with a time of 5:28.96.

The 4x4000 relay team comprised of junior Monique Loney (Stamford, Conn.), Lambert, junior Nicolette Zeigler (Circleville, N.Y.), and sophomore Kayla Phipps (New Windsor, N.Y.) set their best with a time of 4:14.70 earning them eighth place in the Northeast-10.

Sophomore Kendra Plant (Cumberland, R.I.) set her season best in the weight throw with a distance of 13.94 meters, earning her fourth place in Northeast-10.

The Ravens return on Saturday February 21st of the Northeast-10 Championships at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.
