NEWHA All-Academic Team

WINTHROP, Mass. (August 27, 2020) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s ice hockey team has had 21 student-athletes named to the New England Women’s Hockey Association All-Academic Team for the 2019-20 season, as announced earlier this week by the NEWHA.

The Ravens’ selections were led by then-sophomore forward Bridget Fagan (Millis, Mass.), who was one of seven NEWHA student-athletes to post a perfect, 4.0 grade-point average during the last academic year. Fagan and the other six players all shared NEWHA Student-Athlete of the Year accolades by posting the highest GPAs in the league.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have posted a GPA of at least 3.0 in both the fall and spring semesters.
