Women’s Golf: Prukmathakul and Team Victorious for the Third Week in a Row
BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (09/22/2024) - The Franklin Pierce women's golf team captured their third team win of their 2024-25 season at the Hartford Hawk/Gillete Ridge Invitational hosted by the University of Hartford. Kesinee Prukmathakul (Chiangmai, Thailand) led the Ravens in scoring and claimed the individual title.
All five competing Ravens finished in the top 10 at Gillette Ridge Golf Club. Prukmathakul was in fourth place after day one at the tournament but finished with a line score of 80-71—151 (+7) to earn first place. Only four strokes behind, Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Bangkok, Thailand) shot 81-74—155 (+11) and finished second. Lorelai Flanagan (Arlington, Mass.) was tied for the lead after day one and finished with a line score of 78-78—156 (+12) and in third place. Tied for fourth, Tess Dietz (Flager Beach, Fla.) shot 80-77—157 and tied with New Haven's Wynter Flores. Yiyou Chen (Shanghair, China) wrapped up the finishes for the Ravens with a six-place finish and a score of 79-81—160.

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will compete at the Northeast-10 2024-25 women's golf championship starting next Sunday, September 29. The tournament will take place at the Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, Massachusetts.
