With the win, Franklin Pierce improves to 1-6 (1-6 Northeast-10), while Assumption falls to 1-8 (1-7 Northeast-10) with the loss. Freshman James Kraner (Glastonbury, Conn.) posted wins in first doubles and first singles as one of three Ravens to pick up points in both of their matches on the day.

With the loss, Franklin Pierce falls to 0-4 (0-4 Northeast-10), while Pace opens its season 1-0 (1-0 Northeast-10) after not competing in the fall portion of the season.
