Men’s Soccer Coach Roy Fink Resigns

RINDGE, N.H. (November 8, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University Director of Athletics Rachel Burleson has announced the resignation of head men’s soccer coach Roy Fink, effective immediately.

Fink recently concluded his fourth season on the sidelines with the men’s soccer program, and posted a 31-32-6 record in Rindge, which runs his career record to 41-70-9 over seven seasons. Fink’s Franklin Pierce teams qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Championship in three of his four seasons and earned a berth in the NCAA Championship in 2016.

“We appreciate Roy’s efforts in leading our men’s soccer program through the last four years and wish him luck in the future,” said Burleson. “We will move immediately to find a candidate who can successfully steer the program through the offseason, into the 2019 campaign and beyond.”

A national search for the 12th head coach in program history will begin immediately.
