RINDGE, N.H. (May 1, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse freshman faceoff specialist Lawrence Bastianelli (Rocky Point, N.Y.) has been honored by the Northeast-10 Conference with a selection to the All-Rookie team following votes from the leagues head coaches.

Bastianelli appeared in all 13 games for the Ravens including 11 starts. He paced the squad with 86 groundballs which ranked fourth in the conference and also is the highest single-season total in program history. The newcomer led the Crimson and Grey in the X winning 160 faceoffs in 286 attempts (56%) as his 160 faceoff wins was the fifth highest mark in the league. Bastianelli scooped up eight or more groundballs five times including a career-high 13 in the 23-6 victory at conference foe American International College on March 16th.

On the offensive side, Bastianelli scored three times, dished out one assist for four total points. He scored his first career collegiate goal in the Ravens home opener on March 9th versus Dominican (N.Y.) College.

The Ravens finished the 2019 season with a 5-8 overall record and 3-8 mark in conference play.
