Bio
2007-08: One of six Ravens to appear in all 25 games this year. Scored once and set new career highs with 10 assists and 11 points. Recorded single assists in 10 different games this year, including three consecutive contests (12/8-28). Scored his only goal of the year in the NE-10 Tournament Quarterfinal against Stonehill (3/1).
2006-07: Took the ice for nine games as a sophomore, recording one point. Recorded his first collegiate assist against Framingham State (12/2).
2005-06: Appeared in eight games for the Ravens. Committed one penalty for two minutes. Posted his first collegiate goal in a 5-3 setback to Stonehill College (2/11).
Before Franklin Pierce: 2005
graduate of the Gunnery School. Three-sport standout in hockey,
baseball and soccer. Served as captain of the baseball team, while
earning All-Star honors his junior and senior years.
Personal: Born February 7, 1987, in Tolland, Conn. Son of
Gerry and Janet Murphy of Tolland. Has a brother, Devin (16).
Supports the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox. His greatest
sports moment was the named Connatonic League Champs in baseball
during his junior year. Majoring in criminal justice. Also a member
of the Ravens baseball team.
