Sosik Tied for Sixth, Men’s Golf Stands in Seventh at Le Moyne

CICERO, N.Y. (October 18, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team returned to action for their third tournament in a week's span at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational hosted by the Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club.

Franklin Pierce shot a 299 (+11) on the morning, which was good enough for seventh place. Laval (293, +5), Le Moyne (295, +7) and Bentley (296, +8) round out the top-three.

Freshman Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.) made the trip as an individual and tallied the lowest individual score firing a 71 (-1) round one putting him within the top-10. Senior Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.) led the Ravens in team scoring putting home a 74 (+2) which put him tied for 17th place. Classmate Liam Donohue (Vernon, Conn.) contributed a 75 (+3).

Nate Patterson (Conway, Mass.) and Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.) turned in a 75 (+3) each while Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.) tallied an 80 (+8).

The Ravens wrap up their fall schedule with the final round slated for tomorrow.
