MacDonald Tied For Eighth After 18 Holes in Connecticut

WATERTOWN, Conn. (October 14, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University men's golf sophomore Conner MacDonald (Kennebunkport, Maine) is currently tied for eighth place individually at the Post Eagles Invitational hosted by the Watertown Golf Club in Watertown, Conn.

MacDonald tallied a team-high three birdies on the first day shooting a team-low 73 (+2) tying with six other golfers for the eighth slot. Teammate Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.) putted home a 76 (+5) good enough for a share of 20th place, which also rounded out the Ravens top-20 showings.

Senior Anthony Vincequere (Millbury, Mass.) also made the trip down to Connecticut and rifled an 81 (+10). Freshmen Jake Bennett (Madison, Conn.) and Jack Hogan (Westfield, Mass.) contributed 82 (+11) and 83 (+12) respectively.

The men's team is set for a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start tomorrow morning for the final round.
