GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (October 6, 2018) - The Franklin Pierce University men's golf program never left the top of the leaderboard during the two-day Saint Rose Fall Shootout at the Pinehaven Country Club.

The Ravens held on to the top spot over the two days shooting a 298 (+14) round on Friday following with a 308 (+24), finishing with a total of 606 (+38). Roberts Wesleyan College and Bentley University rounded out the top-three. The first place finish was the Ravens third of the season.

"The boys played a really solid tournament under the tough conditions (Day two)" said head coach Tyler Bishop. "I'm really proud of them for hanging in there and grinding their rounds out."

Junior Nathan Patterson (Conway, Mass.) led all Raven golfers with a 146 (+3), which was good enough for a second-place finish. Junior Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.), dropped his score the second day moving seven spots up the leaderboard shooting a 149 (+7) finishing tied for fourth place. 

Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.), Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.), and Liam Donohue (Vernon, Conn.) rounded out the Ravens showings with scores of 154 (+12), 157 (+15), and 166 (+24) respectively. 

The Ravens return to the course in Greensburg, Pennsylvania Sunday, October 14th, and Monday, October 15th as a lead up to the NEIGA Championship in Brewster, Mass.
