Men’s Golf Selected for Second Ever NCAA Regionals
RINDGE, N.H. (April 28, 2017) – For the second time in program history, the Franklin Pierce University men's golf team has qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament East/Atlantic Regional announced Friday evening by the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Committee and the Atlantic and East Regional Advisory Committees.
"I'm very proud of our players and the hard work they've put in this year" said head coach Tyler Bishop. "Qualifying for regionals was a goal of ours and it feels great to accomplish one of our primary goals we set for our season. We are excited and looking forward to this opportunity."

The Crimson and Grey are led by freshman Keeton Foster (Chesterfield, N.H.) who has earned four Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week honors and has two top-10 finishes on the year.
The Ravens last took part in the Division II Regionals at the East Course of the Hershey Country Club in Hershey Pa. from May 7th to May 9th during the 2011-12 campaign. The Crimson and Grey finished 20th at 996 (+144) and were led by Ian Landry who golfed a three round total of 250 (+37).
This year, the Regionals are taking place at the Glade Springs Resort located in Daniels, W.Va. and are hosted by the Mountain East Conference. The tournament will be held from Monday, May 8th to Wednesday, May 10th with a practice round on Sunday, May 7th.
Franklin Pierce earned the last spot in the East Region as 10 teams were selected to participate. Four other NE10 schools, Le Moyne (2nd), Southern New Hampshire (3rd), Bentley (7th) and Saint Rose (9th) were selected to take part in the regionals.
