RINDGE, N.H. (February 8, 2010) – Franklin
Pierce University men’s basketball senior forward
Terrell Ray (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named to the
Northeast-10 Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. It
marked the fifth time this season Ray was named to the Honor Roll,
as he earned a spot on the list during each of the first four weeks
of the season.
Ray had a strong week for the Ravens in helping to guide the team
to a split of its two games. He averaged 14.5 points and 10.5
rebounds during the two contests. Ray pulled down a game-high tying
12 rebounds on Wednesday at Stonehill, and followed that by
narrowly missing a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds
in the 69-58 win over Southern New Hampshire on Saturday.
Ray’s team-high point total came on an impressive 9-of-11
shooting from the field.
For the season, Ray is averaging 13.9 points and shooting 65
percent from the field. He is also leading the team in rebounding
at 7.7 boards a game. Ray ranks 18th in the NE-10 in scoring and
seventh in rebounding. His 65 percent shooting from the floor is
second in the conference.
