Kinard Dozier Named to NE-10 Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Junior guard averaged 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game last week
RINDGE, N.H. (February 1, 2010) – Franklin
Pierce University men’s basketball standout Kinard
Dozier (Dedham, Mass.) was named to the Northeast-10
Conference Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, as
announced by the league.
Dozier averaged 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds during two games last
week as Franklin Pierce went 1-1, including a thrilling 74-73
overtime win at home over Adelphi on Tuesday. Dozier logged a
double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds in the win over the
Panthers. He then totaled 13 points and six rebounds on Saturday
versus Le Moyne.
For the season, Dozier leads the team in scoring at 15.2 points per
game and ranks second in rebounding at 7.2 boards a night. He ranks
13th in the league in both categories. Dozier also ranks seventh in
the league in steals at 1.95 thefts a game and ranks 15th in free
throw percentage at 78.9 percent.
Dozier and the Ravens return to action Wednesday night when they
travel to face Stonehill at 7:30 p.m. Fans who cannot attend the
