Bio

2007-2008: Appeared in all 27 games, making a team-high 25 starts on the season. Finished third on the team with 9.6 points per game and led the team with 5.7 rebounds per contest. Also finished fifth in the Northeast-10 with 2.8 offensive rebounds per game. Reached double-figures in scoring in 17 games, including eight of the last nine games of the year. Had 13 points to go along with 11 rebounds against Southern Connecticut (1/5). Matched his career-high with 18 points against Merrimack (2/16). Posted another double-double with 11 points and 12 boards in a win over Saint Michael's (2/19), then had 14 points on season-high 7-of-8 shooting versus Saint Anselm (2/23).

2006-2007: Took the court in 19 games in his sophomore season, making five starts. Averaged 4.4 rebounds and 4.3 points in 14.3 minutes per game, while also finishing second on the team with 19 blocks. Hit all five shots from the field and made three free throws for 13 points while adding nine rebounds in a win over Saint Anselm (2/10). Posted his first career double-double with 15 points and 10 boards against Merrimack (2/17), then scored a season-high 18 points in a win over Saint Michael's (2/20).

2005-2006: Appeared in 20 games in his first season with the Ravens. Averaged 1.4 points and 1.4 rebounds per game in limited action. Scored three points with four rebounds in his first career game against Vermont Tech (11/19), then posted new season highs with eight points in 22 minutes to accompany five rebounds in a win over CUNY-Baruch (11/20).

Personal: Born November 6, 1985, in Kaunas, Lithuania. Son of Rimas and Ruta Varanauskas of Kaunas, Lithuania. Has four siblings, Rasa (25), Raimis (18), Kristupas (9) and Vilius (6).
