2007-2008: Took the court in 21 games in limited action off the bench, averaging 5.5 minutes per contest. Grabbed a season-high five rebounds against Saint Rose (12/8). Had a season-best four points on perfect 2-of-2 shooting in a win over Caldwell (12/23).
2006-2007: Appeared in five games in his first season with the Ravens, averaging 2.2 points per game and hitting all four of his field goal attempts. Scored a season-high seven points in his first career game against Saint Joseph's (11/27).
Before Franklin Pierce: Transferred from Eastern Nazarene College prior to the 2006-07 season. 2005 graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic. Was a four-year letterwinner.
Personal: Born July 6, 1986, in Alexandria, Va. Son of Ulysses and Margaret Shields of Mason, N.H. Has three siblings, Siobhan (21), Raziel (16) and Nolan (14). Sister, Siobhan, plays basketball at Le Moyne College. Two of his uncles played for the Halem Globetrotters. Supports the Washington Redskins. Lists Michael Jordan as his favorite athlete. His favorite sports moment is playing 1-on-1 with Speedy Claxton. Majoring in business management.
