Bio
Kevin King wrapped up his first season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University football team in 2019. He serves as the team's special teams coordinator and also coach its defensive backs.
King is no stranger to head coach Russell Gaskamp, as the two spent the 2018 season together at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, where King coached the defensive backs and served as Director of Football Operations. Rindge will be the third collegiate coaching stop for King, who also spent three seasons (2015-17) as a graduate assistant coach of the defensive backs at Division I Southern University, during which time he coached a quartet of All-Southwestern Athletic Conference selections. As an undergraduate, King was a four-year letterwinner at Southern.
Originally from Jacksonville, Fla., King earned both his bachelor’s (2015) and master’s (2018) degrees from Southern.
